Outstanding Contributions

• ‘UMAID KALA PEETH’, a traditional Art and Craft School, established and promoted by Mr. Lal Singh Bhati, based on ‘Teacher – Student’ tradition.

• Organizing Art and Craft competitions for school students on national and educational festivals.

• Organizing Art and Craft exhibitions for artists and craftsman.

• Exhibiting and demonstrating in public fairs, in order to promote interest and awareness for our Culture and Tradition by the mode of Art.

• Providing Free Art and Craft education to Underprivileged Children and helping them in their Social Development, along with Sty fund.

• Organizing educational tours and attending students on educational tours, learning about different ‘Shaillies’ and designing, from different Govt. and Private design, Art and Craft education institutes.

• Introducing different methods of traditional Arts and Crafts, Customs and Traditions and Artists and Craftsman, to National and International Guests and Celebrities sent by Rajasthan Govt. and Textile Ministry of India.

• In past 18 years, Mr. Lal Singh Bhati has trained about 20,000 students in Traditional Art and Craft and other different kinds of art, at ‘UMAID KALA PEETH’.

• In 1992, one of his students received, ‘National Award for Master Craftsman’.

• Two of his students received ‘Bhamashah Award’ at National Level.

• Ten of his students have been honored with ‘Master Craftsman Award’ at State Level.

• Twenty of his students have been honored with ‘Master Craftsman Award’ at District Level.

• Twenty of his students have been honored with ‘State Awards’’, in Industrial and Handicraft Fairs.

• Many of his students have been awarded on School and University level.
